- Project information you choose to send during an enquiry or client project.
- Basic usage information through Google Analytics only after you accept analytics cookies.
- Security and request logs produced by the hosting platform.
Why I use it
- To reply to enquiries and take steps you request before entering a contract.
- To deliver, support and administer client projects.
- To protect the website and diagnose technical problems.
- To understand aggregate website use when analytics consent has been given.
The main lawful bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, legitimate interests in operating a secure service, legal obligations for business records, and consent for optional analytics.
Who processes the information
Form submissions are processed by Web3Forms and delivered to the lyt.studio email inbox. Netlify hosts the website. Google Analytics receives usage data only after analytics consent. These providers may process information outside the UK using their own approved safeguards.
I do not sell personal information and do not use enquiry details for mailing lists unless you separately ask for that.
How long it is kept
- Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 24 months after the last contact.
- Client, invoice and project records: up to six years where needed for tax, accounting or legal obligations.
- Analytics information: according to the Google Analytics property retention settings and never for advertising on this site.
- Cookie choices stored in your browser: up to 180 days, unless you clear them or change the choice sooner.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an objection where the relevant right applies. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time through .
